Water-based Acrylic paintable sealant

DESCRIPTION

HISIL Water-based Sealant is a one-component, water-emulsified sealing material formulated with acrylic polymers as the core resin. It cures by water evaporation and film formation (physically curing, no solvent volatilization of toxic organic compounds) to form a flexible, elastic sealant. It is eco-friendly, waterproof, and can be paintable after cured.

PRODUCT FEATURE

3.      High safety during storage, transportation, and use.

4.      Can be easily washed off with water before cured.

5.      It can provide excellent adhesion to most surfaces.

6.      Able to adapt to the expansion and deformation of the bonded materials. 

7.      It is compatible with most materials used in construction e.g. concrete, wood, brick, natural and artificial stone, glass, metal and sanitary-ware.

TYPIC APPLICATION

1.      It is suitable for sealing applications in bathroom and kitchen.

2.      It can be used for sealing a wide variety of interior and exterior surfaces. Such as wood, medium-density fiberboard, concrete, tiles, metal, marbles, etc.

3.      Other applicable purposes after compatibility verification.

FORMULA

PHYSICAL PROPERTIES

Note: Conditioning, specimen is conditioned under (23±2) ºC, (50±5)% relative humidity if not specified.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

1. Application temperature:+5 ℃ to +45 ℃

2. The joints must be clean and free from dust, grease and rust.

3. Min/max joint width must be 5mm/25mm. The recommended joint depth/width ratio is 1 to 2. Application temperature is between +5 °C and +35 °C.

4. Immediately after the application, smooth the sealant at once with wet finger or a wet tool.

5. Excess sealant can be removed by a wet cloth.

6. Keep the sealed joint dry at least for two hours.

7. Cured sealant can be removed mechanically.

SHELF LIFE & STORAGE

12 months in unopened packaging in a cool and dry storage place at temperatures between +5℃ and 28℃, humidity between 30% and 70%.

Optimal storage is at the lower half of this temperature range and humidity range.
