Planar Structural Adhesive & Activator

Description

HISILTECH Structural Adhesive is The 326 structural adhesive paired with 7649 activator is a two-component, rapid-curing bonding system designed for high-strength structural bonding of metals (especially aluminum, steel) and composites, widely used in automotive, aerospace, and industrial manufacturing. The 326 adhesive provides core bonding strength and durability, while the 7649 activator accelerates curing and ensures reliable adhesion even on hard-to-bond surfaces.

Product Feature
The combination of 326 and 7649 addresses critical pain points in structural bonding, making it stand out for industrial use.

Rapid, reliable curing: The activator enables curing in 5–15 minutes (at room temperature) for quick assembly, avoiding long wait times in production lines.

Strong, durable bonds: Delivers structural-grade adhesion that rivals welding or mechanical fasteners, while eliminating holes (from drilling) that weaken materials.

Versatile surface compatibility: Effective on a range of substrates, including aluminum, steel, stainless steel, and some composites—solving the challenge of bonding oxide-prone metals.

Environmental resistance: The cured bond withstands temperature fluctuations, moisture, and industrial fluids, ensuring long-term performance in harsh operating conditions.

Typical Application
This system is favored in industries where speed, strength, and reliability

are non-negotiable.

Automotive manufacturing: Bonding aluminum body panels, steel brackets, or composite components (e.g., carbon fiber parts) to reduce weight

while maintaining structural integrity.

Aerospace & defense: Assembling lightweight metal or composite parts (e.g., aircraft interior structures, missile components) where precision and

durability are critical.

Industrial equipment: Securing metal gears, housings, or load-bearing joints in machinery, replacing bolts to simplify design and reduce vibration-induced loosening.

Shelf Life & Storage

12 months in a dry place at 0~27°C, and in a well-sealed state.
